RoadSpike™
RoadSpike™, a retractable spike barrier strip, is designed as an aid to law enforcement officials for use in safely concluding the high-speed vehicular pursuit of fleeing offenders. The strip is designed to be carried in the trunk of a patrol car and rolled onto the highway well in advance of a fleeing vehicle. RoadSpike’s™ bi-directional capability allows several units to be deployed across multiple lanes of highway. RoadSpike™ is an officer-controlled tire deflation system that allows the deploying officer to selectively choose the target vehicle.
