Javelin (Non-Lethal Assailant Tire-Deflation System)
Javelin is a patent pending assailant vehicle disabling system. This break-through technology has
been designed for use during law enforcement pursuits.Javelin meets all federal, state, municipal and military law enforcement requirements and guidelines.
The Javelin is securely mounted between the push bumpers on the front of the law enforcement vehicle. The deployment switch with safety lock is installed inside the vehicle within easy reach of the driver. When in pursuit conditions the law enforcement officer maneuvers his or her vehicle
to within 5 car-lengths (generally centered) behind the fleeing vehicle. When in position the officer activates the safety switch causing the bumper assembly to launch the tire-deflating device.
