Odor Perception Inhibitor
Odor Perception Inhibitor is a gel-like substance that
when dabbed under the nostrils, prevents the body from perceiving certain
smells. It has eased the work of homicide detectives and crime scene
technicians by stopping the ability to smell decomposing flesh. It
has allowed rescue workers to pull bodies from rubble of bombed buildings
without being overwhelmed by the smell. Because the sense of smell
is the sense most closely associated with memory; the use of the products
prevents the mind from associating an odor with a traumatic event or
gruesome crime scene.
