Registration for the 2008 OLETC Mock Prison Riot® is open!

Registration for Participating Teams and Workshop Instructors is at maximum capacity and has shifted to wait list status. Please contact sgoudy@oletc.org if you still wish to register as a participating team and be wait-listed. There is still space available for Exhibitors. If you wish to register as an exhibitor, please contact cbarone@oletc.org as soon as possible. There is unlimited space open for registrants who wish to attend as observers. All observers are welcome anytime.

ATTENTION ROLE PLAYER VOLUNTEERS:

Role players will meet each morning – Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (12-14 May 08) – at 8:00 am in the Dining Hall.

This is where you will receive information regarding the day’s schedule and how many role players are needed and where.

You may pick up a role player uniform at the Supply Quarters located near the restrooms toward the back of the Training Center Building.

Thank you for volunteering as a role player!

Our very first scenario on Monday morning is the United States Army 705^th Military Police Battalion from Ft. Leavenworth . Their scenario starts at 8:30 am in the Dining Hall. If you have never had the privilege of seeing the US ARMY in action, you are in for an amazing experience! They need 20-25 role players – please arrive on site early to get your role player uniforms and safety gear!

Skills Competition

For information regarding the Skills Competition, go to www.nclettc.org. Click “Training” and then “Schedule” then scroll to the month of May and click the Skills link. Please check this site frequently. Information regarding the Skills Competition is posted as it is developed.

Registration for the Skills Competition is separate from registration for the Mock Prison Riot.

Registration for the Skills Competition will open in January of 2008. Participation for the Skills Competition is limited to 25 teams. Please check the NCLETTC website frequently for updates.

Sunday, May 11

– Registration Day

– Registration will be held at the South Gate of the former West Virginia Penitentiary in Moundsville from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

- The opening briefing/ceremony, which includes dinner, will be held at the White Palace Ballroom, Wheeling Park, 1801 National Road, Wheeling, WV, from 7:30 pm – 9:00 pm. All teams and technologists are welcome.

– A MANDATORY safety/team meeting will be held at the White Palace Ballroom, Wheeling Park, 1801 National Road, Wheeling, WV, starting at 7:30 pm and lasting approximately 15-20 minutes.

Team Leaders are responsible for checking in at the Registration Trailer at South Gate ONE HOUR PRIOR TO YOUR SCHEDULED SCENARIO TIME. You must check in and verify that your team is present and accounted for and will execute their scenario(s) at the specified time.  Failure to report may result in your scenario slot being assigned to a team on the wait list. 

If you see “CLOSED” next to your scenario, this is because your scenario is in a confined or darkened space that is not conducive to observers. Scenarios that say “CLOSED” are closed to observers for safety reasons only, particularly the safety of the participating team. No observers are allowed to view these scenarios. Occasionally teams will request that their scenarios be closed regardless of the location. The Mock Prison Riot staff honors these requests.
